Hello Dear Reader. Has another week passed already? Not sure what is going on with Substack, but all of the sudden , they have given me a little box to type my article in and if I try to type outside of that box, it won’t let me. It feels very odd and also very confining. At first I thought the box, was just a prompt for trying to generate discussion. Below the box it says , “ Tip: Write something concise ( 1-3 sentences that encourages general discussion.” I followed the prompt, assuming that the box was only for the one to three sentences. I finished with that and then placed my cursor outside the box and began to type but couldn’t. I am baffled as to why, but can not figure it out and so am stuck here writing inside the confines of a box. I imagine you will not see once this is published.
I was going to continue to write anyway, but am feeling extremely mentally claustrophobic writing in this format. I may be able to write it in Google docs first and then copy and paste it here, but would rather not. I normally write on Mondays and Tuesdays in between my caretaking duties and then do a final edit on Wednesday and send it off.
If for some reason, I can not figure this out, I may need to skip this week’s post. I just wanted to send a heads up to all the faithful readers who look forward to something new in their box every week. If you are reading this and you are a Substack writer as well, maybe you could give me some pointers in the comments below. I would deeply appreciate it. Thank you everyone.
Have you learned anything from Nutrition Parts 1 or 2 that you were formerly unaware of? Are you likely to use any and/or share any of the information you’ve gleaned here? Do you have anything to share about nutrition that you feel others may not know and could be helpful to know?
I have no tips off the top of my head, however I do understand and support you needing to skip some time until inspiration hits you. No fun for the writer, no fun for reader! We support you, take your time dear one and thanks for letting us know.
